Where is the Golden Door? The Golden Door is located five miles north of Escondido, California, 40 miles northeast of San Diego via Interstate 15, and 130 miles southeast of Los Angeles. Courtesy transportation is provided between the Golden Door and the San Diego International Airport. Included in your pre-visit packet will be a map and luggage tags.

San Diego International Airport is a 30 minute drive via our comfortable private van. If you prefer to fly via private jet, McClellan Palomar Airport is just 20 minutes away. Upon landing, your pilot may call our concierge desk with your plane's tail number so that we may easily locate you. You may also choose to drive in by personal or private car. Inlucded in your privisit mailed packet is a driving map and luggage tags.

I have not been in an exercise program in quite a while. Can I keep up? (conversely...) I am a triathlete and need to keep up my training regimen. Can you accommodate me? Our staff member to guest ratio (4 to 1) enables us to accommodate all levels of fitness and interests by allowing flexibility and individualized care and attention. Our fitness staff is highly skilled and trained with degrees in relevant areas.

How do I choose my schedule for the week, and once arranged, can I make changes? Based on the information you provide in the Health and Fitness Profile sent to you before your visit, we will have a schedule ready and waiting for your review and suggestions at your initial interview. If, at any time, you wish to adjust the emphasis or intensity of your program, both the staff at the Fitness Office and your Fitness Guide are available to assist with changes.
